The most important expressions of the dialogues above are:

• "Dove è (Dov'è) X"(Where is X): This is the most usual way to ask where something it:
  Dov'è la penna? (Essa) è nel cassètto. Where is the pen? It is in the drawer.
  If you want to ask where more items are, use "Dove sono":
  Dove sono Marco e Paolo? (Essi) sono all'università. Where are Marco and Paolo? They're at the university.
  
• "vicino a": It means near or by, and indicates that something is near something else.
  La libreria è vicino alla scrivania. The bookcase is near the desk.
  

Verbs:

• "Trovare": to find
• "Trasferire": to transfer, to move
• "Traslocare": to change house
• "Trasferirsi": it is the reflexive form of "traferire" and it is chiefly used with the meaning of "traslocare".

Question words:

• "Dove": It means "where":
  Dove vai? Where do you go?
  La città dove vivo... The city where I live.
  Nòn so dov'è andato. I don't know where he has gone.
• "Quando": It means "when":
